12/24/2023 0 Comments Yasuo vs zed difficult![]() ![]() But I don't really focus on mechanics a lot, I rarely ever try some flashy plays or anything, I mostly play according to which objectives are priority and try getting better at shotcalling. If I had to say the elo where I think I belong, then I'd say at least mid-high plat since I've beaten several players of that elo (yes, Riot's matchmaking IS that weird). I've never been higher than Gold 4 tho but I think it's mostly because I don't really have a lot of time to play. When you reach the elo where Zed players are actually good, then it does become a challenge and I like that, but I'm currently in my promos for Gold 5, I couldn't play for a long time so my elo dropped. I know it's not easy against a good Zed player, but a good player playing any champion will never be easy. I usually outfarm most Zed's with this method since my purpose mostly is to poke them out of lane. I don't think I have much of a kill lane if he starts playing passively so I just poke him with fast E-Q's until he has to go to base or is weak enough that if I roam and he follows me he'll end up killed or if he roams I just go and kill him. On the "farm til statikk" scenario when I get statikk I usually just go for the fastest trades possible, just trying the hardest to get an E-Q on him without taking damage myself, when you accomplish this you'll see how each time you get it right you chunk him for a good amount. If I get him to 50% I will try an all in whenever he uses his W for farming or poking purposes, since he'll already be lower than me, I can just dodge his poke and then all in or if he uses his combo to farm I can all in safely. If I don't get him to at least 50% I will just play safe and farm till statikk. I try to rush lvl 2 so I can get a good E-Q that will take a good chunk of his HP while he is still lvl 1. Yone on the other hand doesn't differentiate between melee and ranged champions, he shits on all of them even while behind and often requires 3 enemies to shut him down, because of his reliable damage, easy to hit chain cc, better shield than Yasuo and more unconditional mobility.I try to harass with Q when he farms lvl 1, and dodge his shurikens of course. So playing a ranged champion into Yasuo can be extremely frustrating, but at least he gets shit on by practically every melee champion that doesn't rely on projectiles to deal damage. ![]() ![]() Yasuo can also 1v1 lots of champions when he is behind but it's usually a lot closer than when Yone does the same and it requires him to cheese his enemy with his wind wall which removes counter play for ranged champions. Yone is just the better version of Yasuo, because he has an extremely reliable disengage with his E and better cc so Yone is even reliable when he is behind and can 1v1 half of the champions in the game while being 2 levels and 1 item behind. High gold or low plat players can’t kill Yuumi when they’re playing two champions at once, she’s obviously not fun to play against.Ĭause Yasuo is useless when he is behind and is programmed to int teamfights while he has enough damage to wipe your whole team in 4 seconds when he is ahead. They’re reminiscent of Yuumi - a champ so fun and interactive that I have my own adcs ban my Yuumi when I hover her, and that a guy posted a video of him pushing to plat successfully while playing adc with his hands and YUUMI WITH HIS TOES. I’m not sure what you’d do to fix them, either I imagine they’ll stay right where they are. Yasuo and Yone fail most of those criteria. Going to champ design basics, you want a champ to be playable while behind, not dominate while ahead, generally fun to play as, generally fun to play with, and generally fun to play against. The champs aren’t even fun to play unless you get feast, and they’re very challenging for many midlaners to lane against. ![]() It’s also not fun to get solo-carried and barely participate or have a useless midlaner. To go a bit further with the feast or famine point, it is not fun to play against a feeding enemy or an enemy you can’t kill. ![]()
